As another portion of Undercover’s men’s collection for the 2009 spring/summer season, the Poptones collection takes a slightly different route then its more casual Neoboy collection. Slightly baggy suits are the ongoing theme for the most part as we anticipate some further looks in the near future.

UNDERCOVER 2009 SPRING / SUMMER “NEOBOY” COLLECTION
Undercover headman Jun Takahashi unveils his 2009 spring/summer men’s collection “Neoboy”. The eclectic designer known for his avant-garde take on fashion, the Neoboy collection presents itself as an aesthetic closer to the middle rather then the extremities of past seasons. Casual styles come to mark this collection with his Poptones collection taking things in a different direction.

MASTERMIND JAPAN 2009 SPRING / SUMMER ACCESSOIRIES
While mastermind JAPAN’s season to season releases offer little in the form of diversity, nobody can really question their dedication to their ongoing themes of skull imagery and colortones as the brand features itself as a favorite among a small niche of those able to afford the expensively priced collections. In a look at their 2009 spring/summer “ace-high” accessories, the brand’s offerings revolve around its trademark logo on items such as gloves, eyewear and belts. A large drop has arrived at Cliffedge.
ORIGINALFAKE x NEIGHBORHOOD 2009 SPRING / SUMMER
The 2009 spring/summer season will feature a blockbuster collaboration featuring OriginalFake and Neighborhood. The aesthetics of the co-branded release side more heavily with Neighborhood as some of their themes and styles such as flannels and an overly muted palette are immediately witnessed. No word yet on a release date.
DIOR HOMME 2009 SPRING / SUMMER AD CAMPAIGN
The latest ad campaign from Dior Homme, finds famous designer Karl Lagerfeld behind the lens with modeling done by Brazilian model Marlon Teixeira. The ad campaign, following a monotone theme, will be used for the Dior Homme 2009 Spring/Summer season.
VISVIM SPRING / SUMMER 2009 COLLECTION LOOK
Visvim is well regarded and we all know to well the backround of the Japanese label which began in 2001. Here is another brief look at what is in store for the warmer months of 2009 as they continue to evolve and grow as Hiroki Nakamura makes some big moves. Growing on the much coveted Folk collection from 2008 I am really excited about the loafers seen here, providing an even more mature aesthetic with the garments.
MASTERMIND JAPAN 2009 SPRING / SUMMER PREVIEW
Known for their popular muted collections and elevated price tags, mastermind Japan preview their upcoming 2008 Spring/Summer releases. Along with the usual contemporary implementation of skulls, mastermind create an impressive array of looks including collaborations with Visvim and another go round with Levis Fenom. While the collection is expected for an early Spring release, the mastermind x Levis Fenom denim is slated for January 20th, 2009. A further look into the collection can be seen after the jump.
COMING SOON 2009 SPRING / SUMMER COLLECTION
Yohji Yamamoto’s more youthful collection Coming Soon is seen here as the designer
takes a decidedly more simple approach with an emphasis on design and quality. While
Coming Soon was only formally launched at the beginning of this year, however no doubt
under the guidance of the well-versed Yamamoto, we can expect another great brand to
join the ranks of the fashion world.
LV 2009 SPRING / SUMMER FOOTWEAR PREVIEW
Louis Vuitton flagship store Omotesando are in the midst of preparing the re-launch
of the store following a renovation. The newly re-opened space will feature a full lifestyle
approach including a bar housed within the complex. The store will also feature a look
into LV’s 2009 spring/summer collection including the following in terms of footwear.
Showcasing the sneaker side of things are two models. Both the high-top and low-top
share some common similarities in the overall profile and toebox construction while the
high-top utilizes the famous LV monogram. The Louis Vuitton Omotesando store opens
November 23rd.

ATO COW HIDE BOOT & SANDAL
The Ato Cow Hide Boot is definitely not easy to get hold of. Ever since Oki-Ni started offering
them, it made life a little easier for fans outside of Japan. Now they are offering on pre-order for
Spring 2009 the latest colorway of the Cow Hide Boots, this time coming in a black /
green colorway. Matching the boots, they also offer a Ato Sandal, which is just as different and
innovative as the sneaker has been when it came out. Once again, definitely not something for
everybody.
