UNIQLO - SINGAPORE STORES
With the popularity of Uniqlo around the globe, they will be attempting to break into the South East Asian market by opening two stores in Singapore in the coming months. First ever store in South East Asia will be located in the newly developed Tampines 1 commercial facility in the Eastern area and scheduled to open on April 9. Followed closely in early June, the second store will open its doors in the new ION commercial facility, a new landmark on Orchard Road in central Singapore. Tampines 1 store will be approximately 600sqm in size and ION store will boast a larger space at approximately 800sqm.
With strong demand from the local market, this momumental store opening should pave the way for more Uniqlo stores opening in the South East Asian region in the near future. Details of the stores are as below.

JEFF STAPLE’S PRESENTATION @ PSFK CREATIVE CONFERENCE
A few months ago, the founder of Staple and Staple Design, Jeff Staple, was invited by PSFK and MTV Asia to speak at the PSFK Creative Conference in Singapore. For those who don’t know, jeffstaple started his own t-shirt brand in college which have developed into a full-fledged men’s clothing line. Jeff Staple also runs Staple Design, his design consulting firm as well as several retail outlets, Reedspace. Check out the video HERE
DAMIEN HIRST FOR LEVI’S AND LVC @ LEFTFOOT ENTREPOT, SINGAPORE
Leftfoot Entrepôt is now stocking Levi’s premium lines, with the first additions being the new Damien Hirst for Levi’s Fall ‘08 collection and the LVC range of classic reproduction denim. The LVCs offer pretty much the same as they have over the years, classic cuts combined with quality materials for a timeless look. However, the collab with internationally renown artist Damien Hirst is something that you don’t find everyday. Although skulls on clothes are far from new, they don’t come with the multi-million dollar price tag that Hirst’s morbid works are usually associated with.
