REHACER 2009 SPRING / SUMMER ACCESOIRES COLLECTION
Coming off a collection alongside retailer Anout Commune, Japanese brand rehacer unveil looks from their soon to be released Spring/Summer 2009 goods. Claiming a stake amongst the more popular contemporary Japanese labels, rehacer sets forth some one of their more comprehensive collections to date. Included in the selections are accessories, headwear, and footwear. All of the pieces are now available through Anout Commune for pre-orders.
ORIGINALFAKE x NEIGHBORHOOD 2009 SPRING / SUMMER
The 2009 spring/summer season will feature a blockbuster collaboration featuring OriginalFake and Neighborhood. The aesthetics of the co-branded release side more heavily with Neighborhood as some of their themes and styles such as flannels and an overly muted palette are immediately witnessed. No word yet on a release date.
STUSSY x NEXUS VI x NAS T-SHIRT
New Stussy x Nexus VI x Nas collaboration t-shirt; this is the second time these three teamed up to design a shirt. The tees will only be released at the Stussy Harajuku Chapter Store and in the Japanese online store on January 10th.

SCARECROWMAN x LOMOGRAPHY DIANA F+
Despite the proliferation of digital photograph, the Lomography franchise and its relatively cheap film cameras have still maintained a cult following based on their trademark color reproduction and nifty and cheap accessories. In an interesting partnership, Japanese anime series Scarecrowman has put together a Diana F+ package based on the camera commonly used by the cartoon character. The camera’s body is basic in nature with only a few elements to reference Scarecrowman’s involvement. The whole package is quite large including flashes, color kits and instruction booklets. Available now at t2iestore.com with a suggested retail price of ¥15,750 JPY (approximately $173 USD).
VANS x FLAUGE - SK8-HI FLAUGE LIMITED - ROUND 2
A continuation to last year’s partnership with VANS and Japanese sneaker retailer FLAUGE, the newest SK8-HI will feature the same premium suede with leather piping. The exception for this current model is color, or the lack of. Instead of the multi-colorways as in the previous design, a simple black on black colorway was applied on this most recent edition. Interior lined with unique herringbone pattern lining, the VANS x FLAUGE - SK8-HI FLAUGE Limited Round 2 is now available for pre-release order at FLAUGE chapter on ZOZOTOWN shopping network. Limited to 240 pairs worldwide only.

YAYOI KUSAMA x XLARGE x X-GIRL x PORTER
XLARGE, X-girl and Yayoi Kusama designed a series of accessories, all featuring a pink spotted pattern. The series includes a backpack, wallet, iPod case, and waist bag. The iPod case will only be sold at Apple retail stores nationwide, but the remaining bags will be available at select retailers.
PORTER WILDERNESS CYCLE CARRY-ON
Japan-based bag connoisseurs, Porter, transform their previous Wilderness Cycle design into a carry-on roller. Most recently used on messenger bags and backpack, the Wilderness theme reflects Porters successful foray into old school styling, with a simple base featuring leather accenting and a multitude of compartments. Available in a black tonal or blue/khaki contrasting colorways, all three can now be purchased via ZOZOTOWN for ￥48,825 (Approx. $527 USD) a piece.
JAM HOME MADE & READY MADE BIRTHSTONE RINGS
Japanese jewelry specialists JAM HOME MADE & ready made present their latest creation in the form of a birthstone ring collection. The visually pleasing pieces will represent all twelve different birthstone variations including: Garnet, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Diamond, Emerald, and Ruby among others. Retail is set at ¥31,500 (Approx. $336 USD) and will release January 31st, 2009 at the JAM HOME MADE & ready made flagship location.

Japanese label Victim hooked up with expert hand-crafted belt makers Hollywood Trading Company (HTC) on a set of leather studded pieces. Coming in two colorways, both belts reflect a vintage Americana vibe combining the brands distinct quality construction with maverick sense of style. Retail is set at ¥44,100 (Approx. $483 USD) per belt with both a tan or black version now available at Anout Commune.

VISVIM SPRING / SUMMER 2009 COLLECTION LOOK
Visvim is well regarded and we all know to well the backround of the Japanese label which began in 2001. Here is another brief look at what is in store for the warmer months of 2009 as they continue to evolve and grow as Hiroki Nakamura makes some big moves. Growing on the much coveted Folk collection from 2008 I am really excited about the loafers seen here, providing an even more mature aesthetic with the garments.
