In a relationship symbolized by a number of products created together, homies Eric Haze and the addition of fellow New Yorkers Staple come together with Hong Kong’s popular skate retailer 8five2 on a small collection of products. Re-interpreting 8five2’s iconic “Hong Mutha Fuckin’ Kong” slogan, Staple’s rendition takes the graphical road while Haze sticks to his graffiti roots. The prints for both Staple and Eric Haze can be seen on t-shirts and hoodies which are available now at 8five2.
CHAPEL OF DAWN 2009 “COME TOGETHER” STADIUM JACKETS
Originally conceived as a benefit project for the devastating effects of the Sichuan earthquake last year, Chapel of Dawn’s “Come Together” campaign makes its return in 2009. Hailing from the SiLLY THING camp, Chapel of Dawn represents another Hong Kong-based brand making a splash in the industry. Their newest release comes in the form of a Stadium Jacket in two colorways. Both the black and red version, limited to 20 pieces, feature traditional chenille patches following their “Come Together” recovering panda bear motif.

CANON POWERSHOT G10 x MIHARA YASUHIRO CAMERA CASE
While providing some of the best quality shots of any prosumer point&shoot camera, the Canon PowerShot G10 has often garnered negative attention for its chunky form and size. Dress up that brick of a camera with a case and strap produced by Japanese high-fashion designer Mihara Yasuhiro (ongoing collaborator with Puma). The leather goods include a dark brown color with metal highlights in gold. The case retails at select stores in Hong Kong at $980 HKD (approximately $126 USD).
JAHAN x VANS VAULT SK8-HI
Back in July we showcased a preview of the joint project between artist Jahan and Vans. The collaborative effort featured design and artwork from part Leftfoot owner and superb artistic talent Jahan Loh. The kicks will remain the same from earlier samples, featuring black patent leather uppers with dragon inspired embossed detailing and purple accenting, representing honor and royalty in China. This special collabo represents China’s first Vans Vault release which will receive a slimmer cut than the usual SK8-Hi. Only 200 pairs will me made exclusive to Hong Kong and Taipei with the first 50 people in line at the Leftfoot release receiving a free Leftfoot x Vans t-shirt.
