DANIEL SUMARNA x GPB
Thanks to our boy Guillaume of Filling Pieces we had the chance to meet this young Rotterdam based phenomenon: Daniel Sumarna. Humble he is cause he went to see us in Amsterdam. Every word Guillaume told us about this dude was true. This young gun is talented, got skills and we truly believe he is the right man for the job. He showed us an outstanding portfolio and he has a great vision about his work and concepts. Thanks Guillaume for introducing us. Expect more heat in 2010.
FASHION AGENDA 2010 LAUNCH
And he does it again. Our godfather Edo van den Hoed launched his Fashion Agenda 2010 at Bar Italia in downtown Amsterdam. It seems that an economical crisis doesn´t hit him and his partners. Like the past launches Edo invited us again to come over. Our boy Noah Dinero joined us to shoot the photos. It was cool to mingle with Edo’s people like Mart Visser, Floortje Dessing and Susana Mourelle (Textilia) to name a few. This is the result. Big up to the future. G.O.D.

Another manic Monday. Today scheduled, at 10 a meeting with Jesse (owner) and Charlotte (purchase & styling) of FreshCotton. Also a little tour at the FC office by Charlotte. Good things are coming, stay tuned. If you don’t know, now you know. G.O.D.
GPB x IM KING
It was Chris Ngo’s (IM KING) birthday the other day and we had to come up with something special. It should be something typical ‘Amsterdamish’ but we couldn’t send in some weed. We don’t have our own clothing yet, they got plenty of dope shirts (Holiday 2009). So what else? It had to be a little exclusive. Well… we like soccer, we’re from Amsterdam so we came up with this idea to send this tee. See for yourself. GPB x IM KING. We only go up. G.O.D. Maras introduced us with this one. We’re not very often downtown Amsterdam (annoying tourists, cab drivers and so on) only when we got some business to do. And to eat. We love food. MORE COLORS
A meeting was cancelled today with Charlotte (get well soon!) and our cousin Maras called us if we would join him with Ishak to More Colors in Amsterdam. We had to go there anytime soon, so the timing was perfect. For 2010 we got some arsenal in stock. A collabo with Darbotz is coming up and Maras is preparing for a new line, which he’s going to launch at One Day Shop (23 January 2010).
I MISSED OI! DUBPOLICE
Okay, I have to admit. I missed out this one guys. Orville (GPB), Noah (DeeplyDope) and a whole bunch of others were there. And I was not. Check out Caspa and Mc Rod Azlan performing live in the Paradiso Amsterdam at Oi! Dubpolice. After seeing that vid….damn man….I realized I did miss one hell of a party, it’s insane (I watched the whole vid of almost 10 min.). MEET: PHILIP OF 8CHT
As most of y’all know, we’re Amsterdam based. It wouldn’t take that long when we would visit a store in Amsterdam. Philip was the first one we did an interview with for our market research when we were still studying in University. He gave us a good feeling from the moment we met him. And it seems we share the same vision. Pretty logical we would go see him again. We gotta say, the store gets better and better and 8cht’s window is pimped up by Pimpalicious with some words of wisdom: chase your dreams. Yes, after the jump!
